ACTIVITIES
-Assist the reservoir engineering coordinator in day
-to
-day reservoir engineering activities; in particular the modeling of reservoir and well performance using software packages such as ECLIPSE, PROSPER, OLGA2000, PIE etc
-Screening of different reservoir and well development scenarios and contribution towards the interpretation of dynamic well data and prediction of future well and reservoir field performance.
-To assist with the organization of visits to laboratories and contractors
-Preparation of reports and presentations detailing the resultsACCOUNTABILITIES
-Effective technical contribution to the reservoir engineering department
-Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Total’s rules and regulations including liaising with Total technical experts from France where necessaryEnsure all data is stored and backed
-up according to company standards Contribute to the profitability of Exploration & Production investments, by permanently striving to improve the recovery factor and to accelerate production, within the framework of the Group’s economic standardsQUALIFICATIONS
-A strong educational background oriented towards a future scientific career
-A preference for a petroleum
-related education that is more biased towards geology than engineering
-Strong analytical skills with excellent mathematical ability
-Very good knowledge of computers, eg MS
-Windows UNIX,
-Very good level of English; both written and oral
-A good communicator and willing to work both alone and in teams
