ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:The GE Environmental Services Global Supply Chain has a start
-up of a new manufacturing facility in Shanghai planned for Q1 200
8. We are looking for a Plant Master Scheduler that will conduct plant production & materials planning activities and have the following responsibilities:
-Maintain and report plant backlog and production lead time timely.
-Implementation of plant production scheduling based on demand.
-Communicate with operation fulfillment and sale teams on scheduling adjustment based on demand and production capacity/workload to ensure on time delivery with correct quality.
-Trace and manage MFG Orders and WIP inventory to ensure timely and accurate material transactions.
-Coordinate with engineering/fulfillment teams to set up new BOMs, maintain accurate BOMs in system.
-Identify process simplification opportunities in the area of responsibility to ensure continuous improvement and assist in meeting / establishing those associated metrics.
-Participate in lean manufacturing activities.
-Participate cost out projects.
-Build up safety work environmental at working area.
-And take ownership of EHS framework elements.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:Applicants must meet these qualifications:
-Manufacturing/materials background
-Good computer skills, especially with excel
-Strong oral / written communication to all levels of employees, management and suppliers
-Proactive work style, creativity, and energy.
-Ability to embrace change and adjust quickly to new information.
-Ability to handle stress of deadlines with multiple and competing projects.DESIRED:
