a. Agilent Technologies Measurement System Division (MSD) is seeking an electric/ electro
-optical engineer.b. The selected candidate will spend 70% of his/her time supporting China Repair Center operations in the verification, diagnosis, testing and repair of field return defective units. As his/her primary focus, the repair engineer will track failure mode of units repaired and perform analysis root causes and yield improvements. The Repair Engineer will also be responsible to monthly Repair Center performance reporting, and take actions to address key operational issues specific to the Repair Center.c. The selected candidate will be expected to quickly gain knowledge of Agilent In
-Circuit Test hardware knowledge (3070 system) and PCBA diagnostic, and apply these knowledge to be maintain and improve the Repair Rate of the China Repair Center.d. The other 25% of the Repair Engineer time will be focused on Repair Center process development & documentation, evaluating and developing repair procedures for new parts/PCBA, evaluation and qualification of local suppliers for components and/or parts, and supporting/leading identified Field Service & Support projects. e. The key qualities required for this position:i. Ability to work independently with Repair Technical Operator to meet TAT, volume and quality goals of China Repair Center.ii. Ability to evaluate parts and systems and propose repair procedures.iii. Adherence to written process procedures.iv. Ability to effectively communicate with co
-workers and S&S/factory engineers.v. Accuracy and timeliness of documentation and reports.vi. Ability to juggle different assignments and priorities to ensure Repair Center shipments volume/ TAT/ Quality are met.a. Bachelor of Electrical/Electronic Engineering or higher.b. Experience in (or good understanding of) PCBA manufacturing/repair operations are desired, but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.c. Require good English reading and writing ability, and basic English speaking ability.d. Require good Computer skills, especially in Excel, Powerpoint, Word.e. Self
