About JD for the Engineering Manager:
1. Responsibility
a) Lead team of development engineers and test development engineer to deliver successful projects to customers.
b) Communicate with Customers during the whole life cycle of development, from requirement analysis, development plan, architecture design and testing plan.
c) Manage team resources and task allocation and control software deliverable quality and schedule with minimum cost.
d) Coach each individual engineer on technical skills and work efficiency.
e) Work with top level management team to solve engineering issues in project delivery and make appropriate business decision.
2. Qualification
a) At least 5 years of programming experience in commercial software development in Java and/or C++. Strong knowledge on Object Orient design and programming, software life cycle management.
b) At least 1 year team management experience as Engineering manager or team lead.
c) Strong communication and problem analysis skills.
d) Fluent spoken English capability
e) Be able to work in a fast-pace environment and strong capability in emergency handling.
f) B.S, or MS in computer sciences or related fields.
3. Preferred skills
a) Have working experience in multinational company.
b) Knowledge on network protocol and hardware device driver development or testing.
c) Knowledge and experience on automation testing and automation framework.
d) Knowledge on open source tools and framework for Java development and automation testing.
