Responsibility:Responsible for the assessment of the capacity and performance characteristics of the CDMA MTX product. Primary responsibilities include:Support design team for performance characterization, optimization and evaluation to ensure the product meets the overall release capacity/performance/OAM targets.Perform analysis to determine the impact of new/existing features on system capacity, memory, provisioning and/or performance.Verify capacity/performance in the lab to resolve development and integration problems and verify/validate impacts of new and/or existing features on real time targets.Collaborate with other wireless engineering teams to validate customer field capacity/performance and contribute to engineering guidelines (e.g., OM formulas, provisioning rules, etc.).Write, review and deliver the appropriate SE documents/tools (e.g. capacity/performance reports, capacity projection and memory provisioning tools).Participate in all project meetings with Design and/or PLM as required. Requirements:Bachelor degree or above of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Operational Research (Masters or PhD would be an advantage from an analytical perspective)Extensive knowledge of wireless and data telecommunication networks is desiredStrong analytical skillsMathematical modeling experience is an advantageStrong communication skillsFamiliarity with CDMA network and routing protocolsPositive attitude and the strong desire to learn
