Your Responsibilities:
1. Designs, develops and coordinates lamp development projects and processes through the application of engineering principles and practices in a cost
-effective manner, Seeks technical support and advise from others as needed to complete project.
2. Assists the more skilled engineers in various projects geared towards the objective of improving current products/processed and/or development of new and unique products/processed by implementing new or unique ideas and by working directly with the laboratory employees.
3. Follows up on newly introduced products by meeting with factory engineers, reviewing all data and other information regarding quality. May assist factory engineers and management in the training of factory employees in new applications. The incumbent reports on status to Development Manager.
4. Writes through, clear reports to communicate the results of work to groups in China, U.S and Europe as well as to marketing and manufacturing colleagues.
5. Writes thorough, clear specifications for products, processes and materials during design phase.
6. Establishs material properties requirements, lamp electrical characterization, and test lamp structuring. Uses a statistical approach to testing and test interpretations.
7. Uses with professional skill
- the principles of mechanics, physics/electricity and chemistry and related reference materials to design, refine and cost reduce products and processes.
8. Develop and maintains current knowledge and skills on all industry and/or professional trends in own field.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
10. Supports Ecodesign and adhere product safetyYour Profile:
·MS or PhD in electrical or mechanical engineering, material science, or Physics　　　　
·Product development and/or manufacturing experience useful. Helpful if experience in lighting business, esp. HI
D.　　　　
·Project leadership experience very useful. Proactive.
