The Network Management Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and support of the Network Management Systems product suite developed to manage Meritons Network Elements. The product suite includes Network Management Software (server and client) and Network Element Simulation software.Key Responsibilities• Design, development and debugging of object
-oriented software.• Analyze requirements, generate design documents and, produce code to be integrated with the NMS products.• Hands
-on system software design and development using Java.• Object oriented software development using Java.• Software development using UNIX/Solaris and Windows environment.• Work closely with system development teams in the U.S. and in Canada. Skills/Experience:• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.• Possess strong technical, analytical, programming and testing skills and be capable of handling multiple tasks with minimum supervision. • Experience with various communication protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, CORBA and TL
1.• Distributed Object Oriented Architecture using CORB
