Support Engineer, Technical Operations - Beijing

This position is based in Beijing, China.

Google is seeking team-oriented individuals with well-rounded technical and analytical abilities to analyze Googles advertising traffic. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex puzzles, love tackling new and tough technical challenges, and have a knack for identifying trends and patterns in data.

Responsibilities:

* Analyze large volumes of data and synthesize conclusions into recommendations that maintain the high quality of the advertising network and Google products.
* Build tools and internal systems to help analyze Google’s advertising traffic.
* Provide excellent technical support for internal and external clients.

Requirements:

* BA/BS in Computer Science, or similar degree in a technical or quantitative field.
* 3 – 5 years of post-graduate work experience
* Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent knowledge of internet technologies, web browsers, and HTML.
* Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
* Experience in numerical analysis, clustering, and support vector machines a plus.
* Strong knowledge of SQL and database structures.
* Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
* Strong programming ability in one or more of the following languages: Java, Perl, Python, PHP, JavaScript,
