Job Description:
Responsible for development of HSPICE, golden standard tool for accurate circuit simulation. The engineer will specifically work on algorithms of Simulation Engine including Sequential & Parallel Processing. Tasks will include research, specification, design, development and support of new software as well as enhancement and maintenance of existing code. The candidate should excel in solving complex problems individually and with other team members, to create highly differentiated solutions in the market. Challenges include design of efficient data structures and algorithms to speed up for circuit design, ability to learn new areas, and commitment to deliver high-quality production software.
Requirements:
- MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science , Mathematics or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong background in developing and maintaining complex software systems in Fortran, C or C++ on Unix Platform.
- Proficiency in algorithms, data structures and software engineering.
- Knowledge and experience of numerical analysis and circuit simulation,
analog circuit design or CAD tool development is a plus.
