Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
1.Deliver Barcode Scanning solutions to Asia countries using agreed framework and methodology.
2.Provide system consultancy, IT project management, solution implementation services for Barcode Scanning solutions.
3.Barcode services include barcode scanning, scan and pack, label printing for related business units in Asia.
4.Usage of Project Framework (Global IS V
-model and Microsoft Solution Framework) best practices in all projects, and use the agreed project priority mechanism.
5.Coordinate with various IS partners such as CENSYSLOGWND, ASIEDI, GCAISPRJ/DEV and NAMLOGSYS in delivering BAR solution TIMELY ¨C Drive shortest time to market project implementation.
6.Barcode Scanning equipment vendor management.
7.Keep abreast of barcode scanning technology and knowledgeMeasurement / success criteria of the position:
1.Accountable and responsible for BAR project success ¨C deliver agreed solution on time and in budget, and reaching 4+ score in post project implementation survey, by using project framework
2.Accountable and responsible for BAR best practice sharing in Asia and Globally
3.Accountable for guarantee 100% on time delivery of all BAR projects
4.Successfully proven shorter time to market delivery of all projects
5.Ensure that projects allocated are handled and clearly documented regardless of project outcome. Learning opportunities in the position:
1.Asia wise exposure to the growing Barcode Scanning business.
2.Create and add values to business by using Barcode Scanning system properly
3.Driving process innovation in barcode scanning using related systems
4.Collaboration with CENSYS, NAMLOGSYS and various business partners
5.Expertise in world class Barcode Scanning solution and technologySpecific requirements for the position:
1.Knowledge of Maersk Logistics systems and processes
2.Knowledge of Maersk Logistics WND/BAR businesses, clients and operation processes
3.Good analytical skills and ability to grasp complex problems and providing innovative solutions
4.Negotiation and communication skills
5.Proficient in spoken and written English
6.Knowledge of the Global organisation not limited to CENSYSLOGWND and Area organisations.
7.Project management skills
