Your Responsibilities
- Coordinates product
- and process development activities:
- Set up of tests / sub
-projects (DOE)
- Reporting results
- Give advice about further investigation
- Communication window to Innovation Turnhout and LEES Shanghai
- Gains expertise in driver and lamp
-ballast interactions, next to general UHP knowledge
- Broadens insights also through self
-study and own interest
- Works on improvement actions for the department and organization
- (Possible) contacts with OEM, representation international organization Your Profile
- Earlier working experience is preferred, not essential
- Technical knowledge
- Power
- electronics, preferably for lighting systems
- Digital electronics: knowledge on digital building blocks, feeling for software & equipment communication protocols
- Willing to broaden scope to light sources and DPL applications
- PhD or Master degree electronics or equal by experience
- Strong in execution of electronic testing & focused on quality and efficiency.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills towards suppliers, customers and internal organization: needs to be open, clear and timely – keeps on track with administration
- Team player, likes working in team
- Result driven, strong analytical capabilities
- Taking initiatives
