1. Plan, supervise and perform the functional and program design of application systems or interfaces between system, which shall include liaison with users in the development of user requirement specifications, testing plans and training.
2. Operational design, configuration and turning of systems for specific projects as advised by their manager.
3. Ensure application development or changes are fully tested, documented and approved.
4. Set and produce operational standards and guidelines for system use.
5. Monitor system performance and assist in problem diagnosis undertaking corrective action where appropriate.
6. Assist discipline engineer to set up relevant database
7. Liaison, as required, with third party suppliers of application software with regard to problem resolution, planned preventative maintenance, etc.
