Study Design
-Ensure each centre has the necessary trial materials.
-Certify site research coordinators are fully equipped to carry out the study.
-Train site staff on data management tools and principles.
-Develop the study protocol, procedures manual, data collection tools, data quality plans through liaising with data management, biostatisticians, research fellows and the Director. Project Management
-Develop and maintain project timelines
-Establish and monitor project budgets and expenditure
-Ensure Adherence to ICH/GCP and other guidelines and requirements relevant to the project.
-Certify data quality, accuracy, completeness and timeliness is occurring
-Ensure accurate and detailed reports from monitoring visits are kept for scrutiny by Management Committee and external auditors.
-Manage all documentation for the project (including but not limited to all GCP requirements, contact details, signed contracts, serious adverse event reports and ethics committee reports).
-Liaise with participating centre research staff to ensure the effective local management of the study where required.
-Actively maintain regular contact with all study centres by email and telephone.
-Manage staff associated with the project and lead the objective setting, performance management and position review processes for these positions eg Project Officers, Study Monitors, Research Assistants, etc.
-Actively develop and promote the desired culture of The George Institute by ensuring all interactions, documentation and communication is conducted in a manner which supports the stated Mission identified by The George Institute

The pursuit of academic, scientific and operational excellence in a can do culture is actively promoted in all our activities.ContextIn collaboration with the Chinese Cardiac Society, the Cardiovascular Division is conducting the second phase of a project named Clinical Pathways for Acute Coronary Syndromes in China (CPACS-2)aimed at developing, implementing and evaluating quality improvement initiatives for the management of patients presenting with acute coronary syndromes in approximately 100 hospitals across a number of regions in China.Role PurposeWe require an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for managing the conduct of this major cardiovascular project across the mainland of China, including site selection, initiation, monitoring & close out, and providing general assistance to the Program Director. This role will be based in Beijing.
