PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Industry Business Unit AUTOMOTIVE is responsible for defining and delivering the SAP for Automotive solution. SAP for Automotive addresses the core business requirements of organizations of all sizes in the automotive industry and spans from OEM via Supplier to the Sales & Aftermarket. Our organization is responsible for the whole lifecycle of the product from solution strategy, solution definition and go-to-market to solution validation and field support. With subsidiaries in Walldorf, Detroit, Tokyo and Shanghai we are acting global.
To further strengthen our global presence, we are in the process of building a team in Shanghai. The Shanghai based IBU members have a regional scope. In addition to China they will cover main automotive countries like Korea and India as well as South East Asia.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
IIndustry / Process know-how & Solution Competence in one or more scenarios
Project management skills & Presentation Skills
Excellent network (IBU, ASM/Development, field organization...)
Strong communication skills with Sales, Pre-Sales, Partners, and Customers
Previous experience in manufacturing and/or logistics implementation preferred
Experience in Pre-Sales is regarded as an asset
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Solution Definition
Define midterm solution strategy / development roadmap together with ASM (application solution management)
Aggregate and prioritize scenario requirements
Build business case for new development topics (make, buy, partner)
Field and Partner Enablement
Manages a specific scenario or solution portfolio; responsible for completeness of the roll out materials (briefcase, demo, references Provide industry sales training
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for specific sub-segments / scenarios
Value based selling with focus on core industry processes
Develop and execute approaches for productization and multiplication of knowledge
Position solution at events, analyst briefings etc.
Trusted advisor for individual customers and partners
Project Advisor for critical accounts
Drives future customer full scope roadmaps and technology and business architecture
Scenario qualification in first implementation projects of new solution
Focus on influencing key decisions (e.g. Scope, Release planning, QA review
Temporarily fill knowledge gap of SAP Consulting and do knowledge transfer to field organization
Assist AGS (Active Global Support) in De-Escalation
ISV Partner Solution Management
Evaluate solution fit/overlap of partner solution and SAP
Support due diligence of ISV
Ensure alignment of partner with SAP solution strategy
