The OpportunityAn opportunity has arisen to join a new Shanghai Representative Office of a European international supply chain manager.Reporting directly to the Shanghai based Managing Director, the Personal Assistant to the MD will accept certain responsibilities for the successful growth of the China Office. Key functions will include but not be limited to:Helping the MD in interviewing and building a team.Visiting suppliers in China and receiving visitors from EuropeGeneral administration associatiated with setting up an office and Chinese presence (in association with an office Admin)Problem solving and negotiating with authorities, vendors and partners.Overseeing the highest possible standards of product delivery and reporting.The CandidateThe suitable candidate will have a proven track record in problem solving and be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and be able to work independently. Sourcing Value Ltd provide sourcing services for many of Europes top developers, therefore any knowledge of construction procurement or international sourcing will be an advantage. A good team player that is highly organised, excellent attention to detail will need to be demonstrated and the successful candidate will be able to take on a broad range of responsibilities.MS Office IT skills and a good command of spoken and written English is required for this position.The RewardsCompensation will be closely related to the performance of the individual and the company. A basic salary will be negotiable.
