Business Unit DescriptionThe TXSeries CICS Customer Support Team is seeking a highly motivated technical support analyst to work in a fast paced customer support environment. To work both individually and as part of a highly motivated team to assist IBM customers to perform problem determination/problem source identification on the TXSeries CICS product.
Job DescriptionDebugging, and analysis is performed via the telephone as well as electronically. Responsible for analyzing, recreating, and resolving customer reported problems in a very complex software environment. Candidates must posses strong customer interaction skills, and be able to articulate solutions and options. You will interface with customers, developers, IBM Business Partners, IBM Client and Sales reps along with other customer support organizations.

Candidates must posses the skills listed above along with expert customer relationships to assist customer complaints and extreme pressure situations.
QualificationsBachelor or MS in Computer Science or related.
Desired Experience- CICS family experience: TXSeries on distribute environment
- Must be familiar with and able to interpret complex software problems that span across multiple client and server platforms including AIX, Windows, Solaris, HP, and Linux.
- Debugging, analyzing and problem-solving skills are important
- Product Deployment experience
- Product Architecture experience
Desired SkillsTechnical Skills

Non-Technical Skills
- Strong customer interaction skills, and be able to articulate solutions and options.
- Have excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skill in English, Oversea working or study experience is a plus
- Thrive on ability to take remote direction under pressure and deliver to deadlines
- Team player
- Must have strong positive customer service attitude with sensitivity to regional differences
- Expect to work as needs dictate for out-of-hours, weekend or holiday work
- Ability to work independently
- Strong time management and project management skills are critical.
- Technology awareness with well-rounded broad base of IT skills leading
