Description
Acts as the primary human resource interface for a business function, leading the development of an organizational culture that maintains the highest standards of business performance and behavior. Strategic business partner to the business he/she supports. Drives business performance by creating an organization and workforce that is a competitive advantage for HP.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Acts as an integral member of the regional HR team representing at least one Business Unit and one HR function within HP Services for the region
· Plays a key role in the development of an organizational culture that maintains the highest standards of business performance and behavior
· Helps develop a best in class organization in terms of cost and capability, supporting growth across the region
· Contributes significantly to creating the strategy, priorities and programs for the region’s Human Resource function
· Contributes to the development of an organizational workforce and talent that is competitive, leads talent management discussions/plans for a business function
· Aligns reward systems to desired performance and behaviors
· Leads a few functional expertise (e.g., talent management, career development, performance management, total remuneration, employee engagement strategy, etc.) across the region for the business, transferring knowledge and supporting other HR team members in the area of expertise
· Partners and communicates regularly with country HR teams to ensure delivery of the full portfolio of HR programs
OTHER AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributes to the development of worldwide HR programs, representing the region
Works across businesses groups and cross functional teams to leverage and share best practices
Contribute to goals, strategies and objectives of worldwide HPS HR
Qualifications
Requirement:
Drive, resourceful, accurate and independent
Business oriented – knows financials, have business acumen
Strong numeric skills –connect the dots and highly efficient
Great influencing skills and teamwork. Proven ability to lead and manage
Project management skills – working across cultures and teams
Strong problem solving skills – with no preset solutions and breaking new grounds
Business/C&B/Finance experience with an interest to develop to Business HR
A degree or equivalent diploma in Human Resources, or a related field of study
Ideally professional HR qualifications and experience, preferably with regional exposure
Enthusiasm for change and challenging convention
Fluent in English
