We invite applications for Research Associate (Assistant Professor) at the Institute of Biomedical Science, Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Qualified applicants should hold a doctoral degree in life sciences and be committed to a career in RNA biology. Successful candidates may either participate in ongoing research projects to understand the structure and function of various small RNA molecules and their application in chemical biology. The successful applicant will have a strong background in molecular biology and a good knowledge of RNA chemistry or chemical biology. Applicants should also have good communication and analytical skills and should be able to work independently, to write scientific papers and funding applications. 复旦大学生物医学研究院是承担国家教育部“985工程”期建设项目科技创新平台的研究实体，从事生物与医学交叉领域的基础研究、应用基础研究，并面向临床应用及产业化。研究院实行院长（兼首席科学家）负责制，下设九个研究所/中心。五个纵向研究所分别是：基因组学研究所、蛋白质组学与系统生物学研究所、药物学与结构生物学研究所、发育生物学研究所、干细胞与组织工程研究所；四个横向研究中心：心脑血管疾病研究中心、癌症研究中心、病理研究中心、传染病与公共卫生研究中心。
