Job Duties:The successful candidate will join a team of software engineers to develop sophisticated control software for AMEC’s semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The candidate will work on the design and implementation of real
-time control software and should have strong background in object
-oriented software design and analysis, and multi
-task based control systems. The candidates will work closely with hardware and process engineers to ensure the overall equipment meets customers’ requirements. The ideal candidate should be comfortable to work in a team environment, and is passionate and proactive in solving problems. Responsibilities include working with engineers from other departments to define and understand software functional specifications, designing and implementing software solutions, as well as software functional testing to ensure software quality.Qualifications:
- BS in EE, or computer science, MS is preferred.
- Objective
-oriented software design and implementation, multi
-task based control experience is preferred
- Must be proficient in C++ and Windows operating systems
- Problem solving and analysis ability are essential
- Good written and verbal English communication skills are required
- Good team player and quick learner is highly desired
