PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVESActive Global Support has a number of productive internal business systems used by SAP worldwide. One of these systems is the Business Intelligence (BI) system, where Active Global Support has a number of productive Business Intelligence solutions for internal reporting. In this context, AGS acts like a customer using SAPs BI product. According to business needs and global strategies new business contents need to be implemented, often based on BI standard contents. In addition, existing BI contents need to be enhanced or redesigned. These productive business systems and their included processes must be supported and maintained.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Master degree in computer science or comparable education
- Good communication skills
- Enjoy working in an international team
- FlexibilityEXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Analyze and activate BI standard content
- Implement customer specific extensions to standard content including data extraction
- Implement AGS specific Info Objects, cubes, ODS and other BI structures
- Implement individual data extractions from application systems
- Implement process chains for automated data loads
- Implement queries
- Support end users with information on contents and query handlingWORK EXPERIENCE
- Know
-how in ABAP, SAP NetWeaver 04 would be very helpful but is not mandatory
- Understanding of Netweaver architecture with focus on BI and detailed BI knowledge would be very helpful but is not mandatory
- General BI knowledge
- Knowledge about data model design, data model implementation, data extraction
- Knowledge of Query Builder and BEx Analyzer
