ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify customer support CTQ and focus area in China
- Provide leadership to build up China customer support capability
- Work closely with global customer support group to understand the processes implemented in NA and merging markets in the areas of customer issue management, parts ordering, routing/transportation, defective returns and UX parts management;
- Develop applicable processes in the areas above in China
- Leverage global tools developed by customer support group; provide region feedback to base organization for customization needs
- Be customer advocate; Continue to identify customer support needs and improve customer support processes in China
- Work closely with China logistics team to provide upstream supportQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Both written and verbal communication skills. The ability to establish productive working relationships with all levels of GE and customer organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence customer and GE peersDESIRED:Significant field and customer support experience on Locomotive and railway products.GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
- Drive resolution and provide assistance to customer concerns.
- Interface with customer and GE internal organizations.
