1. Prototype and develop standards-based audio/video encoder and decoder for wireless communication systems, such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4/H.264, etc；
2. Support advanced product development and prototyping which requires video functions；
3. Making trade-offs between quality, performance and cost；
4. Create IP (intellectual property).
【Skills】
1. Good understanding of digital image signal processing (such as filtering, DCT, Huffman coding), plus experience in most of the following areas: video/audio encoding/decoding algorithms and implementation；
2. Rich experiences in FPGA/DSP/ARM implementation for video/audio signal processing as well as ASIC design are preferred；
3. Strong computer simulation skills using C/C++ and troubleshoot are must. Matlab experience is useful；
4. Experience in embedded software design is a plus. Familiarity with visual quality test methodology；
5. Familiarity with one of broadcasting systems DVB-T/H, T-DMB or MediaFLO as well as cellular systems GSM, CDMA and OFDM is a plus；
6. The team member should also be capable of estimating his/her own schedule, and managing work to that schedule.
【Qualifications】
1. A Master degree majoring in communications systems with a high average score is minimum；
2. A Ph.D. degree majoring in communications systems with a high average score is preferable.
