Job DescriptionTo be responsible for providing pre
-and post sales technical support tocustomers for Apaches Physical Power Integrity tools which involve complexIC design and circuit engineering.Perform engineering application evaluations and benchmarks, demosand technical presentations to prospective customers. Collaborate with customers on design projects by providing supportand consultation Support engineering design and development and enhancement ofexisting and new products. Develop utilities to aid the tool in debugging / troubleshootingproblems. Work closely with Field Application Engineers, Sales Engineers andR&D to identify new ideas for applying Apaches products. Some travel required. QualificationsProjects or experience with industry standard tools or flows. New graduates must have relevant course work in VLSI and computerengineering. Prior design or industry experience a plus. IC Design Experience Standard cell physical layout Delay calculation Timing analysis Signal integrity crosstalk effects Voltage drop effect Good communication and problem solving skills Team oriented with a desire to learn Some scripting experience, PERL and TCL UNIX experience. Excellent oral and written English.
