OBJECTIVE – Track, analyze, and coordinate implementation of cost reductions and production quotations across all suppliers. Review and monitor all corporate contracts. Develop standardized analysis and compliance reporting tools accordingly. Assist Purchasing Director as required. Contribute to, and report on, departmental balanced scorecard. .
SUMMARY OF POSITION – Analyze, implement, and report findings on cost reductions and the quotation process at all suppliers. Analyze and report findings on corporate contracts and inventory. In concert with purchasing director, develop standardized quotation process. Assist, as required, in projects as directed by Director of supplier management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review, analyze, implement and report findings on all quotations for all suppliers.
· Responsible for all systems updates as it pertains to production quotes.
· Track, and assist on the implementation of all company wide cost reductions.
· Metrics management – may include: ABC item and customer classifications, Total inventory, Inventory turns, etc.
· Help define and document a quotation process for RSC to include roles and responsibilities for Supplier Management, SBU’s, and contract manufacturers.
· Review, analyze, and report findings on the status of all corporate contracts.
· Review, analyze and report findings on all new quotations
· Review, analyze and report findings on any special project that is requested by the Global Sourcing department
· Execute purchase orders to vendors as directed by purchasing director.
· Purchasing responsibilities for the China Development Center.
· Assist the Director of Supplier Management in the completion, and analysis of, supplier’s performance review.
· Possibility of infrequent global travel and on site assignments
SPECIFICATIONS
· Minimum bachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or documented matriculation in appropriate discipline.
· Demonstrated working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
· Previous experience in supplier management related discipline or detailed analysis work.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Monthly report, via BSC reporting templates, on all cost reductions efforts currently in process and proposed for the calendar year.
· Quarterly Supplier Scorecards
· No less than quarterly reconciliation of all corporate contracts and quotations
· Finalization of Contract Manufacturers Reviews.
RELATIONSHIPS
· Reports to the Director of Supplier Management
Works closely with Planners, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality Assurance, China development Center, and all Strategic Business Units.
