A Database Architect is an expert in database systems and a valuable shared resource for all development teams. Developers do not necessarily write the most secure and efficient database scripts and Database Architects are there to assist developers in developing better database for our client solutions. As a DBA you are responsible for the design architective, quality and performance of all data related projects that we work on.
Responsibility:
Provides optimization support for database pillar of software solutions
Creates database environments for development, testing, and deployment
Mentors development team on database development and data access techniques
Enforces security policies across development, testing and production databases
Provide technical advice on database schema and optimization
Skill Requirements:
At least 1 MCP certification in MS SQL Server domain
Experience working in various MS Technology domains
Expert level knowledge in MS SQL Server technologies (Data warehousing, OLAP, clustering, optimization, and reporting services)
++MS MVP
++MS MSDBA
++MS Technology teaching and mentoring experience
++Experience working in a foreign company environment
++Fluent Spoken English
