Business Unit Description China Emerging Technology Institute (CETI), established in August 2006, is a new organization in IBM CDL. The major mission of CETI is to facilitate CDL to be a mission lab in IBM WW through development of technical and global leadership skills and increasing CDL participation in global leadership and mission especially in emerging areas. CETI is a bridge between research and development, engaging in high tech development to identify emerging technologies and drive incubation of these efforts into product plans.

Web 2.0 team is dedicated to the innovation in Enterprise Web 2.0, and development of WOA (Web Oriented Architecture) technologies, solutions and products, as part of the IBM world-wide efforts in creating a lightweight, radically simplified environment for application development, runtime and deployment. Currently, we are focusing on Rich Internet Application programming model, Mashup and lightweight composite services & applications. Through the innovation and cooperation with world-wide senior technical leaders in leading edge areas, it becomes a great vehicle for growing China engineering talents.
Job DescriptionPeer -to-peer work with IBM world-wide product architects, senior technical leaders, executives to understand requirements of the market, innovate new technologies in SOA and Web 2.0 to meet the market needs, communicate and convince world-wide counterparts, lead the team to implement the product design . Support important customer cases in Asia by performing as a consultant, a technical lead or evangelist.
Qualifications Master or above in Computer Science preferred.
IBM Certificates preferred.
Desired Experience Strong skills and extensive experience in Java technologies, Web, SOA/Web Service/XML and RDBMS
Hands-on web 2.0 development experience (AJAX etc.) .
Familiar with LAMP, Ruby on Rails is a plus.
Familiar with Eclipse plugin development is a plus.
Good leadership in communication and leading a group of smart engineers.
Customer engagement working experience is a plus.
