POSITION TITLE: Software Engineer (Mfg Engineering)

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS / MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
•Create competitive advantage for the company, applying engineer

ing skills and process expertise to guide and influence new product designs an

d roll-over/end-of-life decisions for MTS’s low volume, high mix product port

folio.
• Monitors and insures successful implementation of Software Revi

sion Engineering Change Orders at our CM site.
• Provides second level technical support to our CM on all softwa

re related issues that arise in the Manufacturing process. This includes both

product and process related software. Acts at the in country focal point for our remote R&D teams.
•Support the development and execution of the business goals and

strategies.
•Tracks and monitors TQRDC-E performance objectives for particul

ar suppliers to drive progress towards objectives and ultimately improving The

company's revenues, product quality, costs and responsiveness.

Required Skills: Demonstrated ability to write/debug software code using C, C++, shell scri..

: In-depth experience with Microsoft NT and XP operating systems
: Fluent in English and Mandarin
: Strong communication skills both written and verbal

: Ability to partner with other geographies and cultures effectively??????? ..

: BSEE – Computer Science

Desired skills
: Experience with scripting languages such as Perl and DOS batch files
: Adept at writing/debugging code
