The Oracle Applications E-Business suite vision is opening its newest development center in Shenzhen, China (P.R.C). The E-Business suite is one of Oracle top ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) suite that enables large international companies and SMB (Small and Medium Businesses) to manage their business end to end. The Oracle e-Business suite includes complements in Financials (Payable, Receivable, General Ledger…), Supply Chain management (Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Order Management and distribution), Human Resources (Payroll, Employee management …) and many others. The initial focus of the new Shenzhen development center will be in Supply Chain Management, specifically Procurement, Logistics and then Manufacturing.
Position Description:
We are looking for talented Quality Assurance engineers to be part of our new development center in Shenzhen. As an EBS Quality Assurance engineer you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Reviewing specification, developing and maintaining test plans based on specifications with adherence to quality standards both internal and external.
2. Execute software test plans.
3. Set up test framework where ever necessary, analyze and write automated tests extensively.
4. Maintain documentation of test results.
5. Analyze test results and recommend corrective action while identifying bugs and issues.
As a member of this QA group, you will be responsible for end to end testing which includes setup, validation, regression runs and evaluating quality of the product at the systems and integration level. Process will also include certification and support.
Job Requirements:
1. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area (logistics , procurement or manufacturing)
2. Understanding roles, processes, procedures and QA test lifecycles.
3. Strong sense of commitment to quality, schedule and effective communication is a must
4. Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal, including meetings and conference calls with our international R&D divisions in the US and India and our international customers
5. Experience with E-Business Suite and/or Supply Chain applications a plus
6. Experience with test automation tools a plus
7. Highly motivated
