- Working with system engineer, hardware design team and optical component suppliers to define the specification of the optical components used in the Alcatel-Lucent’s products.
- Optical components and subsystems qualification and design-in.
- Provide support to hardware integration and system verification.
- Provide support to field and manufacturing issues.
- Tracking the latest technologies related to optics.
- Participating some optical and optical-electrical related design.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph. D. degree in telecommunication, optoelectronics, electrical engineering, or other related fields.
- Extensive knowledge in optical components and subsystems for optical networking.
- Proficient in optics related international and domestic standards.
- Familiar with telecom optics testing and troubleshooting.
- 2+ working experience in optoelectronics is a plus.
- Team sprit and self motivated
- Fluent in both oral and written English.
- Good communication skills.
