1. Analyze requirements specifications and identify specific test points within the software.
2. Independently design and document detailed test cases to cover all levels of test, including: functional, integration, automation and system.
3. Generate/assemble test data to support test conduct.
4. Using the software test tools available, automate regression and stress testing activities.
5. Interact with developers and product management to coordinate support for testing activities.
Qualifications
1. Experience in analyzing software requirements, design, and unit test documentation to develop independent end-user level testing.
2. Automated Test Tools experience, such as Rational Team Test, Mercury WinRunner/LoadRunner, etc.
3. Experienced with defect tracking software such as Jira, Rational Clear Quest.
4. Familiar with version control/configuration management systems, such as Clear Case), CVS, Subversion.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, good English written communication skills.
