Department Description Materials & Failure Analysis Laboratory (MFAL), which is part of Supplier Performance Management organization of Integrated Supply Chain Quality.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
The individual shall interface with Development engineering and Service Center teams in suspected component failures, coordinating root cause analysis by the supplier and internal validation using MFAL or other lab resources, and following 8D problem solving and corrective action process (MCAR). The person shall participate in conference calls and team meetings for status review on mechanical component issues resolution progress globally as necessary.
Requirement：
Understanding of materials science and electrical/electronic components used in the electronics industry. Knowledge of ICs, wafer processing, packaging and semiconductors/PAs/displays is preferred.
Communication with suppliers for corrective actions on material issues. Knowledge of 8D, MCAR and FFRP data systems would be desireable.
Internal Motorolan - Yellow Belt or greater.
Good oral and written communication skills.
