Description
This engineer position will work on Business Intelligence (BI) OR Data Warehouse (DW) projects for HP/External customers.
A qualified candidate should be able to:
· Deep understanding on Data Warehouse system
· Practical working experience in BI/DW industry;
· Work with domestic/oversea counterparts to code, test, troubleshoot, document and maintain projects;
· Apply current technologies and applicable emerging technologies to assigned duties;
· Develop front-end reporting solutions
· Related business knowledge such as fast Consumer goods
Documentation - providing Support documentation on processes and procedures for maintaining system test and production environments .Document solutions and track communications as required and defined within support processes.
Qualifications
· Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related area;
· Experienced in one of the following reporting tools or skills is plus:
o Oracle Web OSA,
o Siebel analytics,
o BO/Cognos/Hyperion products (e.g. Brio)/Microsoft BI products
· PMP certificate is a plus;
· Data modeling and repository modeling techniques
· Knowledge in Data Warehouse (DW) theory and methodology;
· Have good English/Chinese communication skills;
· Team-working attitude with strong desire to learn and excel.
· Knowledge in BI/DW theory and methodology, familiar with related tools;
· Fluent English is a must. Good English communication skills, with the ability to present resolution to foreign customers in a clear and comprehensible way.
· Good time management skills, ability to multi-task and handle pressure without compromising level of customer service or required detail
· Exceptional interpersonal and team skills, Excellent Customer Service Focus (focus on customer as the top priority, keep abreast of customer needs and priorities, and provide value to the customer).
· Solving skills to identify, research, isolate, and resolve customer issues. Maintain call ownership from initial customer contact to call resolution, which includes supporting escalations if appropriate, and provide customer updates either by phone, email or instance messenger timely;
