EDS is currently servicing a number of clients in the area of testing and in particular test planning, execution, governance and consultancy. As the engagements with our clients continue to expand, our service offerings are also expanding as we provide additional "value" activities to our relationship.

The Tester role is as a result of additional work that has been acquired with a large existing client and the position will be relied upon to provide test execution activity

Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible:


Execution of test scripts

Document test results against expectations

Ownership of test deliverables

Participate in reviews and provide constructive feedback

Raise defects discovered

Technical Skills/Experience Requirements
The candidate will be expected to be competent in the following areas, however, as this is an entry level role some flexibility will be shown:

Written and verbal communications in English

Desire to perform testing as a career path

Test tool experience/exposure (Mercury preferred)

ISEB/ ISTQB certified (preferred)

Multiple platform (WEB & Mainframe) exposure

Test methods and concepts understanding

Other

As this is a professional role some additional or out side of normal business work hours may be required.

Must meet and maintain security clearance requirements of EDS and relevant clients as required
