Background:

AstraZeneca is running an eCollaboration Strategy group to develop the global eCollaboration strategy.
The goal of this strategy is to provide innovative ways to meet AstraZeneca eCollaboration business requirements both internally and with external partners.
The strategy should look at the following collaborative capabilities: Collaborative Workspaces/Workflow, Instant Messaging, Presence Awareness, Social Networking.
As part of this initiative, AZ would like a group of University Students (made up of UK, US, SE, China & France) to collaborate and come up with a thesis on eCollaboration within AZ. Recommendations should be based on AstraZeneca business requirements, related initiatives/projects and consider compliance, retention and legal impact. The recommendations must also provide best practice guidelines on usage based on AstraZeneca business scenarios.

Description of work:

- Work with the global group of students from UK, US, SE & France to come up with a thesis on eCollaboration strategy.
- Together use and document the experience on collaborating using AstraZeneca current toolset as well as any other tools they required to collaborate
- Bring new ideas related to collaboration and experience on how the team were able to collaborate among themselves to form this thesis
- The thesis will be presented to the AstraZeneca eCollaboration team.

- Master in IS/Science/Economics, or other majors related to eCollaboration

- Excellent English both oral & written

- Team Oriented/ability to work on a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Analytical thinking, creative/Innovative

- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials

- Successful thesis publication experience is a plus

- Proven responsible working experiences in MNC is preferred
