Description:
The GTP for Information Systems is a trainee program of 18-24 months which allows insight into the areas of IS Service elivery, IS Architecture and IS Sourcing. Becasue of its global nature this trainee program allows you to work in 3 different countries, experience diverse work cultures and job assignments.
The first 6 months are spent in your home country. Thereafter, you will move to the ABBs global headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland or one of our regional holding offices or for another 6 months. During the second stage you can expect to gain an overview of ABBs operations and work on a more strategic level. Finally, the third assignment will bring you to yet another country to gain further international experience and increase your responsibility. After successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to take on a permanent position in one of our local units.
We are looking for highly motivated, assertive individuals who are interested in working for our dynamic, global company. As an innovative company on the forefront of technology, we are looking for quality individuals who can make valuable contributions and help steer our company successfully into the future.

Specifically, we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following qualities:
Recent university graduates with above average degrees in Computing, Computer science,
Information Systems/IT or related majors (MSc or equivalent preferred)
Excellent language skills (fluency in English required, additional languages a plus)
Mature, professional personality with realistic goals
Flexible team player with good communication skills
