Desktop Testing (3 positions)
=============

Red Hat Desktop/I18N Quality Engineering requires a Quality Engineer who enjoy working in a fast pace environment with a strong passion to break software in order to improve the quality. Some of the core responsibilities include:
1. GUI/desktop applications testing
2. Internationalisation testing (input method, font rendering, printing)
3. Develops, maintain and executes Test Cases (automated/manual)
4. Works with development organization to debug and troubleshoot issues in the course of testing activities.

Candidates should possess the following requirements:
1. Experience with graphical application and internationalisation testing
2. Experience with testing activities such as preparing and executing Test Caese
3. Familiar with Linux Desktop (GNOME/KDE)
4. Interest in the advancement of Linux Desktop
5. Ability to communite effectively in English (verbal and written)
6. Scripting skills including (Perl, Ruby or Python) and Shell
7. Multi-lingual skill is a plus 8. Some knowledge in Database Administration


Virtualization Testing(2 positions)

The Quality Engineering team at Red Hat is looking for engineers to search for, analyze, report, and track defects in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Responsibilities include developing test scripts, executing test cases, debugging software problems, and operating automated test tools.

Job Requirements:

- College degree or equivalent computer experience
- Strong skills and background in Linux
- Familiar with a wide variety of components of the OS (Kernel especially)
- Good knowledge of Linux installations, applying patches and building kernels
- Knowledge of Virtualization software
- Experience with stress, performance and regression testing
- Scripting skills in bash, perl, or python
- Windows system administration skills desirable

Requirements

* Red Hat Certified Technician or equivalent

The Engineering team at Red Hat is looking for a system administrator for facilities at Beijing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Installation of hardware components, which includes the placement, power, cabling, and updating of asset inventory. Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and configuration problems. System Administration. Secure, monitor access. Presentable & professional. Work with building facilities and electricians to maintain the lab. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirement

* Bachelors Degree majoring in Information Technology or Computer Science
* Minimum of two years related experience and/or training;
* Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ideal candidate would possess RHCE.
* Ability to read and interpret English language technical documents. Ability to speak business level English.
* Linux operating system installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
* Networking technology at the physical (twisted pair, fiber optic) and logical (Ethernet, TCP/IP) level including the various supporting services and protocols (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos)
