Description
" Researching and analyzing Chinas telecom and technology sectors
including interviewing company executives and government officials,
monitoring Chinese press, and research conducted through the Internet.
" Conducting in-depth analysis of telecom market trends to distill the
collected data into insights relevant to BDA clients.
" Drafting reports and presentations for BDA clients and presenting key
research findings to BDA clients via strategic workshops and client briefing
sessions.
" Building relationships with telecom equipment vendors and other
participants in the industry and participating at industry conferences,
analyst events and industry seminars.
" Providing support for marketing and BD activities.
" Working on consulting projects for BDA clients including analysis of
the market, strategy development, and drafting reports to clients.
" Traveling within China and overseas to conduct market studies, meet
with clients and attend industry events.


Qualifications
" 4-year university degree
" Fluency in written and spoken English
" Minimum 3 years work experience in a telecom equipment or service
company or a research and consulting firm with relevant project experiences
" Previous work experience in market analysis, strategy development,
product management and professional services would be a plus
" Strong analytical skills
" Understanding of the telecom industry and knowledge of emerging
trends and technologies in the telecom ecosystem
" Good interpersonal skills and team work

" Researching and analyzing Chinas handset value chain and the
wireless ecosystem including interviewing company executives involved in the
handset ecosystem and research conducted through the Internet.
" Conducting in-depth analysis of handset market development trends to
distill the collected data into insights relevant to BDA clients.
" Drafting reports, presentations and other deliverables for BDA
clients and presenting key research findings to BDA clients via strategic
workshops and conference calls.
" Building relationships with handset vendors, design houses,
components suppliers, distributors and retailers and other participants in
the value chain and participating at industry conferences, analyst events and
industry seminars.
" Providing support for marketing and BD activities of BDA as directed.
" Working on consulting projects for BDA clients including analysis of
the market, strategy development, and drafting reports to clients.
" Traveling within China and overseas to conduct market studies, meet
with clients and attend industry events.


Qualifications
