Job tasks
To develop mechanical solutions in product development projects from concept to running production. Work with cross-function team to deliver a quality and cost effective new product
To participate in the choice of mechanical concepts, technologies and production methods
To ensure the mechanical and thermal design of products
To assist in selecting new suppliers
Requirements
Skill required:
Hold a degree in mechanical engineering or similar
Have experience of and flair for electro-mechanical development including EMC aspects
Familiar with 3D CAD tools and data transfer between EE and ME
Must have in depth knowledge of manufacturing processes including thermoplastic molding, metal stamping, extrusion, tolerancing
Are enterprising, systematic and purposeful
Are capable of working independently and in teams
Excellent problem solving skills
Are well versed in English communication
Skill desired:
Experience with thermal solution.
Knowledge of new product development procedure.
Understand UL and CE approvals requirements.
Experience with FEA
