Job Title: Prin Sys Consult
Location: Shanghai
Technical Expertise:
Works on problems of complex scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Acts as a source of expertise for less experienced colleagues and other departments. Responsible for formulating technical strategies and tactics for sales in support of Sybase products and services and functioning as an integral part of the sales team.
Client/Business Focus:
Proactively acts to understand client needs and offer assistance even when not asked. Interprets internal/external business issues and recommended best practice in own discipline; makes changes to own and others work to meet these. Understands industry/market directions of technologies and products other than Sybases. Demonstrates application of technology to business problems. Manages costs and profitability for a work area and/or large projects.
Creating & Delivering Solutions:
Finds the underlying issue(s) in complex situations; takes a new perspective on existing solutions to complex problems. Manages and develops technical strategies. Assists and makes recommendations for development of strategic and business portions of account plans. Manages own time to meet agreed targets; develops plans for projects in own area, including forecasting/organizing all resource requirements.
Working Relationships:
Creates formal networks internally and externally.
Region:
Eastern China (Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi).
Education:
Bachelors degree in applicable discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience:
A minimum of 10+ years pre-sales technical support experience (or 8-10 years experience with a Masters degree).
Retail and manufactory industry background or experience preferred.
