Objectives
1.Increase contribution and brand performance within strategic channels.
2.Define opportunity and develop effective plans and picture of success for strategic channels.
3.Monitor plan execution.
Responsibilities and Duties
1.Define channel opportunities: identify major purchasers and consumers, and understand consumer motivation and priorities; role of soft drinks within channel; pricing and package mix with resultant margin opportunities; competitive set including CSD and NCB.
2.Develop channel plans to include: price and package strategy, picture of success, merchandising principle; ambient and cold drink; profit story and selling kits. Special requirements may include sponsorship plans, exclusive agreement and staff incentives.
3.Coordinate with Area Manager/CSS Manager to prepare activity calendar, special events and model store campaign.
4.Personally supervise and undertake model outlet initiatives; frequent visits to market, customers and sales offices.
5.Manage DME for channel and special projects.
6.Provide market intelligence to Sales Dept. especially on competitive activity.
