Nokia Siemens Networks is looking for motivated specialist in the system testing area of SMSC development in Chengdu. Your responsibilities will cover functional, performance, compatibility and system acceptance test planning, test execution and automation activities as well as hardware and software installation.
You co-operate closely with development team to ensure software quality and to make the product development work more effective.
In addition you need to be able to act as a technical leader and coach other team members to improve their expertise.
You will work in projects as part of Chengdu R&D team using modern agile and iterative software development processes.
Requirements:
Your academic background is an MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar subject. Technical requirements:
• Proven experience in I&V area
• Telecom (SMSC) knowledge
• SS7 and TCP/IP knowledge
• Database knowledge
• Familiar with testing tools and test automation systems
• Sound Unix/Linux knowledge
• Shell scripting
• Knowledge of Agile and iterative SW development process is a plus
• Programming experience (C/C++/Python) knowledge is a plus
