Test execution and test plan development for a graphical application
that will monitor / manage a wireless local area network. Application
is written in Java, using the SWING GUI toolkit. Tests will exercise
both product base functionality and changes due to localization /
globalization. Initial work will involve extensive testing of the
application using previously developed plans. New test plan / test
development will follow quickly.

*Required Qualifications:*

Test management experience
Minimum BS in CS / EE, or a related field
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and become productive efficiently
Experience testing and improving quality of Java based GUI applications
Ability to write clear and reproducible defect reports
Familiarity with Wireless LAN operation and protocols
Good written English language skills
Strong verbal English language skills

*Desired Qualifications*

Familiar with QA/Testing methodologies
Familiar with Linux or Solaris OS
Experience diagnosing defects in Java based applications
Experience testing / developing wireless LAN based applications
Experience with wireless LAN protocols (802.11)
Experience with test automation for GUI applications
Knowledge of XML is a plus
Experience testing device and/or network level management applications
Working knowledge of networking standards and protocols such as 802.1x, Bridging and Routing is a plus
CCNA certification desirable
