Role / responsibilities -Lead process engineering team in production group -Develop opto-mechanical mounting technologies for laser products -Work with engineering group to establish environmentally robust, high yield processes -Lead efforts to take engineering units through full release to manufacturing -Develop manufacturing protocol instructions -Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes Qualifications -Over 3 years experience with opto-mechanical packaging -Advanced degree (preferably in mechanical or metallurgical engineering) -Strong familiarity with lasers and related packaging technologies -Experience with fiber coupling highly desired -Strong manufacturing experience -Self motivated -Highly creative -Strong communication, presentation and organization skills -Solid leadership and management skills -Committed team player |
