Role / responsibilities Lead development of environmentally stable opto-mechanical packages Drive package design through design, tolerancing and prototyping Work closely with production group through qualification and manufacturing release Work closely with cross functional team and supply chain Qualifications Over 3 years experience designing and building opto-mechanical systems Expert experience with mechanical and thermal design software Advanced degree (preferably in mechanical engineering) Strong familiarity with opto mechanical packaging technologies Experience with opto-mechanical package qualification over shock, vibration and temperature Experience with lasers and fiber coupling highly desired Manufacturing experience highly desired Self motivated and highly creative Strong communication, presentation and organization skills Committed team player |
