JOHN DEERE (CHINA) INVESTMENT CO LTD JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Engineering Intern
LOCATION: Beijing / Tianjin
DEPARTMENT: Quality, China Operation
REPORTS TO (Position): Manager, Total Quality and Planning
World Wide Agriculture Division, China Operations
NUMBER：2 (1 in Beijing; 1 in Tianjin)

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
·The key responsibility is to localizing many of our process documents.
·Provides support and basic trouble shooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.
·Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope.
·Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope.
·Works with electronic tools to perform engineering functions.
·Participates in team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency.
·Assisting new manufacturing processes and technology implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills & Knowledge
·English skill is very important and engineering background is a plus
·Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
·General knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
·Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
·Knowledge of engineering systems, tools and databases.

Work Experiences:
·No prior work experience required.

Education:
·Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
