*Equity Research Translator based in Shanghai 1-2 opens

*University degree in English/translation or equivalent

*Primary Responsibilities/Function :

.Translate research documents of varying lengths into Chinese to a very high standard and within varying timeframes - document subjects include Chinese A-share and H-share companies, sectors, strategy, and economics
.Liaise with authors to ensure mutual satisfaction with translated documents
.Coordinate with publications team in Hong Kong to ensure documents are published on time

*Additional Requirements:

.High Proficiency in Word, PPT, Google
.Effective written and verbal communication skills (both Chinese & English)
.Must be detail oriented and can work under pressure
.Must be able to work independently for long periods
.Must be team player
.Committed, self-motivated and hardworking
.Must be able to translate at least 2,500 English words a day to print-ready quality
.Some general knowledge about banking and / or securities business preferred
