Job Title: Research Engineer
Position Summary:
Applies engineering theories and principles, perform complex work in research and development, including investigation, acquisition, integration and distribution of advanced technologies that support the long-term business strategies of Company.
Principal Duties:
· Establishes research methodology, project objectives and milestones for major technical initiatives;
· Report interim milestones and final results to management. Achieve the projects allocated on schedule with a high level of quality;
· Build a good relationship with the customers, project sponsors, and other research/development labs within Rockwell Automation;
· Collaborate as a team player by appropriately involving others in decisions and plans that affect them, Create an environment encouraging the open exchange of information and viewpoints
· Expand cooperation with the Chinese research and development community in order to provide input on China 's requirements to global projects;
· Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures
Requirements:
· Ph’D or equivalent in an technical discipline(Electrical Engineering, Industry Automation, Computer Science etc)
· Strong technical knowledge of industrial fieldbus technology, wireless communication, PLC application and etc
· Good command of spoken and written English and must also be a good communicator.
· Work experience in automation industry is a plus.
· High capacity of creative thinking
