Simple introduce of S3: S3 is one of the famous GPU developer, and currently S3 is focused on DX10/11 Graphics-process-unit design. More detail information can contact with"yiping@", he is architecture manager in Shanghai.
Below is the position description from the company.

Responsibilities:

-Advanced GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) architecture algorithm researching and designing

-Advanced GPU architecture specification and test plan writing

-Advanced GPU architecture simulator developing and verifying

-GPU benchmark/game/application profiling and analyzing

-GPU performance validating, analyzing and improving

-GPU modeling and verifying platform and related utility implementing

-GPGPU (General-Purpose GPU) application algorithm researching and performance analyzing

Requiements:

-MS or above in CS/EE/Math

-Positive and responsible attitude for work

-Good communication skills both oral and written

-Fluent in English: reading/writing/speaking/listening

-Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills

-At least one of the basic knoledges of

-Computer graphics

-Direct3D or OpenGL

-Computer architecture

-Game/GPGPU algorithm

- Computational mathematics algorithms: Linear Algebra/SparseMatrix/FFT/PDE

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience in IC architecture design and modeling,

-Computer graphics/image/digital video experience,

- Parallel Computing System, Extra large scale scientific calculation

-Compiler knowledge, or

-Windows application/driver development experience
