1. Introduction of the Management Trainee Program
The purpose of the Management Trainee Program is to build a pool of supervisory or management resource for the company within 2 years of the traineeship.
l The traineeship is a 24-month accelerated program.
l Trainees will be assigned to a business service throughout the duration, but in the course of the traineeship, will cross into other operations as part of the learning process.
l Trainees will be exposed to a variety of learning experiences ranging from classroom training, on-the-job supervision, hands-on experience, project work, to the carrying-out of day-to day operational tasks.
l At all times, the trainee will be under the care of a Supervisor (for work-related tasks), as well as a

The selection process consists of 4 stages:
Stage 1: First-round interview by HR
Stage 2: Short-listed candidates will be required to complete an on-line
behavioral assessmentStage 3: Short-listed candidates will be invited to a final panel interview
Stage 4: Final candidates will receive the offer from IDS

All candidates with the required characteristics and academic qualifications described below will satisfy the criteria of the Management Trainee Program.

l Desires to develop career in Logistics or Distribution industry
l Able to deal with ambiguity and change
l Professional in executing tasks & assignments
l Able to work independently as well as in a team
l Possesses personal humility and willing to learn
l Communicative and has strong business acumen
Academic Qualifications
l Graduate with a bachelor or master degree
l Preferably majors in any one of the following subject areas - Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operational Research, Engineering, International Trade and Marketing
l GPA: above 3.0
l Proficiency in English
l Excellent analytic skill
