Want to provide creative solutions to complex customer problems? Build and deploy distributed applications? Microsoft Consulting Services group drives, architects and implements large-scale client/server solutions for strategic enterprise accounts. To work in this group would mean early responsibility to provide architecture for new applications as well as auditing existing applications.

Requirements:
• You should be pursuing an engineering degree or equivalent with specialization in Computer Science or related discipline.
• You must have strong project management experience with first class communication and presentation skills.
• You will be required to possess technical breadth and/or depth in one or more of the following areas:
A) Network design - NT- Workstation/Server, SMS, UNIX, TCP/IP, NetWare ?
B) Messaging design - Exchange, Notes.
C) Internet/Intranet design - MCIS, IIS, Proxy, Netscape SuiteSpot, Netscape Application Server
D) Database design - SQL/Server, Oracle, Informix and Data warehousing.
E) Windows NT application development – C++, C#, .NET, , VB, VC++, OLE, COM/DCOM, CORBA
F) Inter/Intranet application development - IIS, IE, ASP, VBscript, VJ++, UNIX, Java, HTML
G) E-commerce Application development - ASP, VBScript, SSL, Public-key, Certificate Server, Authenticode, CryptoAPI, Digital Certificates, Kerberos, SSL/TLS, Server Gated Cryptography, Smart Cards Technologies, Virtual Private Networks


Technical Account Manager - Chengdu

A role as Technical Account Manager in Microsoft Services Group offers you this chance. The Services Group delivers technical consulting, training, support and performance tuning to world-class institutions in China.

Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for delivering professional technical consulting, supporting and trouble-shooting to Microsoft’s premier customers, achieving high availability, reliability and manageability on customer critical information system, satisfying user experience on Microsoft platform.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver Microsoft Premier Service to Enterprise customers, which include technical consulting, training, supporting, trouble-shooting, performance tuning etc.
• Consult and support Enterprise customer improve IT operation and achieve high availability, reliability and manageability on critical business information system.
• Cooperate with Account Manager to achieve customer satisfaction and business goal.
Requirements:
• Strong technical background on IT system design, deployment, trouble-shooting, performance tuning etc.
• Be familiar with Microsoft Back-office products, e.g. Windows Server, Exchange server, SQL server etc. and master at least one server relevant knowledge in depth.
• Good interpersonal/communication/presentation skill. Prior experience communicating with customers with good problem solving ability to work in a team environment.
• Quick learner, love challenges under pressure.
• Fluent in both oral and written English.
• MCSE or MCSD or MCDBA will be preferred.
• University degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
